Although we have written and analyzed all of Rebecca Rodriguez’s ploys and stories and plethora of claims about being a victim and helping animals, she still cannot tell the truth! We will again prove that what she writes is always dishonest and at best, only partly truthful.
LOL!!! Rodriguez saying “wouldn’t it be easier to be honest and do the work”. Are you kidding? HYPOCRITE!!!!
Fact : $53 531 was paid directly via the GoFundMe platform. Another approximately $10000 was paid directly to RebRod LLC via “One Animal World“.
Based on her postings, we based the additional $10 000 in direct contributions on simple math. At $6623 GoFundMe mark she raised $1800 in direct contributions. At $11 500 GoFundMe mark, she raised $2500. So at $53 531 when the GoFundMe campaign was closed, we calculated that from GoFundMe working on GFM x 5 for direct contributions paid to Rebecca Rodriguez, we settled on $10000 in direct contributions although the amount is probably higher. Thus there is proof a TOTAL of $65000 was raised, not $53531 as Rodriguez wants everyone to believe!
Here is the proof posted by Rodriguez herself. Guess she “forgot” about the “direct contributions” to “One Animal World” aka Rebrod LLC which GoFundMe (or the public) know nothing about :
Then Rodriguez goes on to claim that all the funds were utilized on the “Indonesia mission”. This is very, very important. We have proof this is not so. However, we will address this one lie at a time.
Rodriguez writes out a long list of “accomplishments” and “costs”. Let’s take a good look at these claims.
Fact : $10 000 was spent on salaries of her “team”. Her “team” – the “5 professionals” consisted of the very same friends she takes on all her film productions. They are Alycia Barlow, Dan Allen and Miguel Abi-Hassan. They accompany Rodriguez whenever she plans on producing video/film.
Fact : $0 was spent on flights as these were all sponsored.
Fact : $2700 “donated” to Scorpion Wildlife Trade Monitoring Group for construction of reading house in Aceh.
Fact : “Rescued otters” from illegal wildlife market were purchased for what? $25 each maybe? $50 for otters who were then showered, petted and kept overnight to be delivered to Wanicare Foundation who obviously could not deny the 2 otters. Donation to Wanicare Foundation for their care. $100? Otters died 2 days later.
Fact : Rescued 2 kittens from market somewhere. Cost? $0. Dumped at an animal welfare institution and donation given for 2 kittens’ care. $50? $100?
Fact : Injured captive monkey needed to see a Vet. Cost? $20? $50? $100?
Fact : Met with “numerous Indonesia based animal welfare groups and rescuers”. Cost? Transport cost? Lunch cost? $50? $100?
Fact : “Donated rescue gear” to an animal group in Central Java. Was this Rodriguez’s Evacsak that she manufactures in USA? So the cost to her is zero. Unless she charged retail value for her own product?
Fact : “Contributed “speciality electronics” to animal rights activists. Is that a camera? Walkie talkie? What does that even mean? Did Rodriguez donate to her associate Marison Guciano (animal rights activist) a camera for his use? $100?
List of Rebecca Rodriguez’s “accomplishments” from her “Indonesia mission”. $65000 donated by the public for animals named as beneficiaries of her http://www.gofundme.com/sunbearsindonesia campaign, all of whom received $0!
Fact : $65 000 – $10 000 (“team”) – $2 700 (Reading house) – $150 (Otters) – $100 (Wanicare) – $100 (kittens) – $100 (monkey) – $100 (meetings) – $100 (camera) = $51650 missing. And even if we were to believe/rely on Rodriguez’s claims that she only raised $53 531, that still leaves $40 000 unaccounted for!
Yet somehow Rodriguez managed several international holidays for herself accompanied by her “teammate” Alycia Barlow (Rodriguez’s best friend) to Puerto Rico, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico, Germany, Greece and possibly also Bali for the months August 2017 to January 2018. Rodriguez also spent big money on registering more LLCs, organizations, web domains etc. We wonder where Rodriguez got all this money from? It didn’t come from http://www.gofundme.com/sunbearsindonesia where it was all funneled directly into yet another for-profit LLC owned by Rodriguez called RebRod LLC????? 😉
The animals named as beneficiaries from that campaign received………………. wait for it, ZERO! All of them got nothing! Not 1 red cent was spent on anything the public donated for. And despite Rodriguez’s claims that she offered “help” to Bandung Zoo, and they declined, the truth is there was no legitimate offer of help so how could Bandung Zoo decline help that didn’t exist? See Rodriguez’s “letter offering help” to Bandung Zoo.
Also, what about Mikey the orphaned Orangutan who needed a new enclosure – named as a beneficiary? Did they also turn down a supposed offer of help? And sun bears Tegan and Bedhu – other named beneficiaries. Did they also turn down a supposed offer of help? Guess Rodriguez forgot about them too. Hmmmmmm. Guess they all turned down Rodriguez’s $65000 worth of help! And remember, this all fell under Rodriguez’s “Indonesia mission”.
So exactly how is it that GoFundMe apparently gave Rodriguez’s “Indonesia mission” the greenlight when every single animal named as beneficiaries in this campaign got $0? Please explain. Or is this another lie?
So exactly what were the public donating to and for?
And to top it all off, Rodriguez is asking for donations AGAIN for more “missions” and “projects” using yet more registered LLC and web pages. Honestly, if you buy into Rodriguez’s lies you may just aswell throw your money into the trash bin. Simply, you are NOT helping animals. You are helping Rodriguez.
